Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah
Jebel Jais is the highest mountain in the United Arab Emirates, rising to approximately 1,934 metres above sea level in the Hajar Mountains of Ras Al Khaimah. The mountain is known for its dramatic landscapes, winding mountain roads, cooler temperatures, and panoramic views across the surrounding valleys and coastline.
Visitors can explore the mountain through scenic drives, hiking trails, viewpoints, and a range of adventure experiences. Jebel Jais is also home to attractions including Jais Flight, Jais Sledder, and Jais Sky Tour, as well as 1484 by Puro, the UAE’s highest restaurant.
