OliOli
OliOli Dubai is an innovative and award-winning children’s play museum located in Al Quoz — the Hawaiian word “OliOli” means “joy.” Designed with input from educators, artists, developmental psychologists, and museum experts from around the world, it aims to inspire creativity, imagination, and learning in children through open-ended, hands-on play, in a setting built for kids to take risks and problem-solve in a low-stakes environment.
The museum features eight galleries with more than 40 interactive exhibits, each designed to engage children in hands-on exploration and play. Highlights include Toshi’s Nets, a large climbing structure; Future Park, where kids’ own drawings are brought to life digitally; the Water Gallery for water play; Cars and Ramps; Forts and Dens for imaginative building; and a dedicated Toddler Gallery designed specifically for younger children.
Sessions are typically timed at two hours to keep the space comfortable and uncrowded, and adults are welcome but must accompany a child at all times. Between activities, families can take a break at La Petite Treehouse Café, which serves snacks and light meals, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible with a nursing room and baby-changing facilities on site.
