Dubai Autodrome
Dubai Autodrome, completed in October 2004 at the heart of the Union Properties MotorCity development, was the UAE’s first fully integrated motorsport and entertainment facility and remains the country’s premier racing venue. Its FIA Grade 1 circuit stretches 5.39km with 16 to 17 turns and offers six different track configurations, making it one of the few circuits in the world technically capable of hosting a Formula 1 race, even though Abu Dhabi currently holds that role in the UAE.
Since opening, the circuit has hosted the FIA GT Championship, the European Touring Car Championship, A1 Grand Prix, GP2 Asia and, since 2006, the Hankook 24H Dubai endurance race, drawing drivers such as Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Räikkönen and Nico Rosberg over the years. Alongside the main circuit, the complex includes the Dubai Kartdrome for indoor and outdoor karting, a dedicated race and driving school, a Welcome Centre offering classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction for all experience levels, and regular track days for both cars and motorcycles.
