Masfout Gate

Masfout Gate is an architectural landmark at the entrance to Masfout, Ajman, serving as both a gateway to the mountain village and a symbol of its cultural identity. Officially inaugurated in February 2026, the project was developed as part of the UAE’s initiatives to enhance Emirati villages and create destinations that combine local heritage with contemporary development.

The gateway covers approximately 500 square metres and rises 16 metres high, featuring a 40-metre architectural walkway. Its design incorporates creative artworks inspired by Masfout’s culture and heritage, including Nabati poetry, popular traditions and the customs of the mountain community.

Masfout Gate also serves as an important access point for visitors exploring the wider Masfout area. It connects the village with its mountain landscape and nearby heritage attractions, while supporting hiking, sightseeing and other outdoor experiences. The landmark has already become part of Masfout’s growing tourism infrastructure following the area’s recognition as one of the World Tourism Organization’s Best Tourism Villages for 2025.
