Sharjah Science Museum
Sharjah Science Museum is an interactive science and educational museum in the Al Abar area of Sharjah, dedicated to making science and technology accessible and engaging for visitors of all ages. Opened in 1996, the museum combines hands-on exhibits, live demonstrations and educational activities to explore subjects ranging from physics and biology to astronomy and human science.
The museum features more than 50 interactive exhibits that allow visitors to experiment with scientific principles and explore topics such as the human body, electricity, aerodynamics, thermal physics and the laws of nature. A dedicated space section introduces visitors to astronomy and outer space, while the museum’s science shows demonstrate scientific concepts through live experiments and interactive presentations.
The museum also operates educational laboratories and workshops, with programmes particularly designed for children and school groups. Its activities encourage visitors to learn through experimentation and practical experiences, making the museum an important educational and family-oriented attraction in Sharjah.
