Sharjah Classic Cars Museum
Located near Sharjah International Airport, the Sharjah Classic Cars Museum showcases the development of the automobile industry through a collection of historic and vintage vehicles. Established in 2008, the museum houses more than 100 classic cars, with exhibits arranged chronologically to illustrate the evolution of automotive design, engineering and technology from the early 20th century onwards.
The museum’s collection includes vehicles dating from as early as 1915, as well as rare classic bicycles and motorcycles. The exhibits cover different stages of automotive development, allowing visitors to compare early automobiles with later vehicles and learn about the technological innovations that shaped the industry. One of the notable exhibits is a 1969 Mercedes Pullman Limousine associated with the Ruler of Sharjah.
The museum also incorporates educational and cultural activities related to automotive heritage. Its facilities can host exhibitions, events and workshops, while the Sharjah Old Cars Club organises classic-car events and participates in cultural and heritage activities across the UAE.
